Description

The Polestar Pilates "Mat Series" training offers you a deep dive into the fundamental movement principles of the Pilates method. It guides you through the step-by-step mastery of the mat exercise repertoire, from beginner (level 1) to advanced (levels 2 and 3). Do you want to make your mat classes even more varied and inspire your clients even more? Then sign up for our optional "Mat with small equipment" module on 28 June 2026 and receive a discount of €50. You can find more information here.

During the training, you will learn how to perform, analyse and teach each exercise precisely, taking into account the specific indications, contraindications and needs of the practitioners. Theoretical parts such as lesson structure, imagery, tactile guidance, contraindications and movement analysis will help you to teach confidently and according to the needs of your participants, with a focus on group dynamics.

Validation sessions and preparation for the final examination are key components of the training programme in order to measure the trainees' progress.

All course content is also available online via the Polestar platform and as printed course materials. Basic knowledge of anatomy and a minimum of 25 hours of practical experience in Pilates are required.
