The Neuroplasticity course consists of two parts:

  • - Part 1: Online materials and videos immediately upon receipt of your payment! Learn at your own pace
    Online introduction to the topic of neuroplasticity:
    o Basics of the nervous system
    o Principles and advantages of neural training
    o Pilates in the context of neuroplasticity
    o Exercises on the mat and with aids
  • We will then meet in the studio for a whole day to gain practical experience and exchange ideas. You are also welcome to follow this part live online as a live stream. We will enquire about your wishes before the course.
    - Part 2: 8-hour meeting live in the studio or live online!
    Live demonstration and case studies. Topics include:
    o Neuronal tests
    o Exercises
    o Application experience
    o Demonstration of changes and processes
    o Discussion of case studies
    o Implementation in therapy, individual training and group training

About the trainers:

Alexander Bohlander and Andreas Wellhöfer are both senior educators for Polestar, therapists and osteopaths with studios and practices in Germany. As Pilates and movement specialists, Alexander and Andreas have lectured worldwide and published articles on current Pilates-related concepts of movement integration. Alexander is the author of the Pilates Teacher Manual (Springer Heidelberg 2016), which is available in 5 languages.
